The Clean, Safe, and Inclusive Downtown committee, which was established last month, has finally chosen its members.
Following its foundation, the committee began accepting membership applications.
Mayor Lyn Hall has been named the Chair, while representatives have been chosen from Downtown Prince George, Prince George Chamber of Commerce, RCMP, Northern Health, and the Native Friendship Centre among numerous other organizations.
Additionally, five members of the community were chosen to serve on the committee: Lynne Brown, Paul Burry, David McMullen, Shelby Petersen and Daniel Roy
The committee, which will host its first meeting this month, will look to address social issues throughout Prince George, with a particular focus on the downtown core.
Final recommendations are set to be presented to City Council by June 30th, 2020.
