The Prince George Cougars played six games on their East Division road trip and have six points to show for it, going 2-2-1-1.
Friday night in Moose Jaw before 2,662 fans, the Cougars ended their swing on a positive note posting a 3-2 victory over the (11-26-2) Warriors.
Defenceman Cole Moberg, named the game’s first star, scored on a power play late in the first and assisted on the game-winner by rookie Craig Armstrong at 11:32 of the second.

It took 43 games but finally the 16-year-old Armstrong has his first WHL goal.
Mitch Kohner tallied just 2:14 into the game for Prince George, his first goal since November 23rd.
The Cougars enjoyed period leads of 2-0 and 3-2.
Tyler Brennan made 28 saves for his fourth victory as P.G. outshot Moose Jaw 34-30.

The (12-24-3-4) Cougars are eight points behind the (18-20-2-1) Seattle Thunderbirds for the final Western Conference wild-card spot.
The Cats are also two points back of the (14-22-4-1) Tri-City Americans.
