One of the Prince George Cougars new owners Greg Pocock spoke to the media following Wednesday’s unanimous vote by the WHL Board of Governors to approve the transfer of ownership of the team.
He calls being a part-owner a dream come true.
As for the future of the team he says Dallas Thompson will not be back as general manager but notes Mark Holick will remain the team’s head coach.
He says he will be in a better position to discuss further possible personnel changes once the new ownership group takes control of the team May 8.
The owners will hold a meet and greet with fans and have a cake cutting ceremony May 13.
