The federal NDP says it’s time for the Auditor General to step in and take a look at the Temporary Foreign Worker Program.
Skeena-Bulkley Valley MP Nathan Cullen says problems with the program go deeper than issues found within the fast food sector.
Cullen says the NDP isn’t calling for the program to be scrapped – rather to fill the loopholes which have allowed for the program’s abuse.
All of this after the federal government this week promised to give Service Canada further audit powers to help reform the program.
