The Prince George Spruce Kings have hired a local product to be their new trainer.
Joel Walkey comes to the BCHL club after spending the last three seasons with the Saanich Braves of the
Vancouver Island Junior Hockey League
“I am beyond excited to return to Prince George and to help contribute to a team that
means so much to the community” said Walkey.
“I am thrilled that the stars aligned and allowed me to begin my career in my hometown.”
Walkey received his bachelor’s degree in the Athletic Therapy Program from Camosun College in Victoria.
