Prince George RCMP received a report of shots fired in an alley near the intersection of 17th Avenue and Juniper Street last night at about 10:20.
Initial indications were that a vehicle with two occupants pulled up into the alley, a shot was fired, and then the vehicle sped away down Queensway towards Ferry Avenue according to Cpl. Craig Douglass.
The suspect vehicle is described as a dark coloured four-door Chevrolet pick-up.
Investigators have not yet located the truck, suspects, or a victim.
Although the motives for this incident are not yet known, it is believed to be targeted.
The investigation is continuing.
