Riverfront trails and parks back in use after wet start to summer

After a rainy couple of months, the City of Prince George has reopened all of its riverfront trails and parks including Cottonwood Island and the Heritage River Trail.

Both facilities were closed due to rising water levels.

In addition, Paddlewheel and Hazleton Parks are also available for public use.

Last month, the city issued an evacuation alert for Farrell Street residents due to a significant risk of flooding along the Fraser River.
