Earlier this month, the BC Prosecution Service approved the following charges and issued arrest warrants for Durrand:

  • Possession of property obtained by crime over $5000
  • Obstructing a peace officer
  • Fail to comply with probation
  • Fail to comply with release order
  • These charges stem from four separate incidences that occurred since July 2019.

He was held in custody overnight and will appear in court later today (Tuesday).

Durrand has a history of violence and is believed to pose an increased risk to public safety.

The woman was released without change.
