NBA:

–Game 2 in best-of-7 NBA Finals will tip-off tonight just after 6:00 in Orlando. The LA Lakers whipped the Miami Heat 116-98 in the opener. The Heat have listed Goran Dragic and Bam Adebayo as doubtful. Dragic has a torn plantar fascia in his left foot while an MRI revealed a neck strain for Adebayo.

–Doc Rivers has agreed to a 5-year contract to become head coach of the Philadelphia 76’ers. Rivers was sacked this week as coach of the LA Clippers.

MLB:

–The American League Division Series will feature the NY Yankees against the Tampa Bay Rays and the Houston Astros vs. the Oakland A’s. The A’s advanced Thursday with a 6-4 victory over the Chicago White Sox in the third and deciding game.

–In the NL: LA Dodgers blanked Milwaukee 3-0 to sweep the series 2-0, Atlanta dumped Cincinnati 5-0 to win in two straight and San Diego outscored St. Louis 11-9 to tie the series 1-1.

NFL:

–The Denver Broncos have their first win of the season. The Broncos beat the New York Jets 37-28. The 0-4 Jets have the worst record in the NFL and are one of seven teams still without a victory.

–The Tennessee Titans home game against the Pittsburgh Steelers on Sunday has been postponed until later in the season. The NFL made the decision after the Titans reported multiple positive COVID-19 tests in their organization.

–There are 13 NFL Sunday games including (3-0) Seattle at (1-2) Miami and (2-1) New England at (3-0) Kansas City.
