NBA:

–LeBron James and Anthony Davis combined for 65 points and 23 rebounds to lead the LA Lakers to a 124-114 victory over the Miami Heat. The Lakers lead the NBA best-of-7 Finals 2-0 with Game 3 Sunday (4:30 PM PT) in Orlando. Kelly Olynyk of Kamloops scored 24 points for the Heat, who played without injured starters Goran Dragic and Bam Adebayo.

MLB:

–The first round of the MLB playoffs is complete. The San Diego Padres blanked the St. Louis Cardinals 4-0 to win the series 2-1 while the Miami Marlins skunked the Chicago Cubs 2-0 to capture that series in two straight.

–The best-of-5 American League Division Series will begin Monday with Houston at Oakland (1:07 PM PT) followed by NY Yankees at Tampa Bay (5:07). The NLDS opens Tuesday with San Diego at LA and Miami at Atlanta.

–St. Louis Cardinals legend and Hall of Fame pitcher Bob Gibson has passed away at age 84. Gibson had been
ill with pancreatic cancer in his hometown of Omaha, Nebraska.

NFL:

–There are 13 NFL Sunday games including (3-0) Seattle at (1-2) Miami and (2-1) New England at (3-0) Kansas City.
