In a nutshell:

NFL:

The Seattle Seahawks moved to 4-0 after a gritty 31-23 victory over the Miami Dolphins in South Beach.

This is the second time in franchise history the Hawks have gone undefeated after their first four games.

Chris Carson rushed for 80 yards and two touchdowns.

In the Sunday night game, Carson Wentz led the Philadelphia Eagles to a thrilling 25-20 win over the San Francisco 49ers.

Former Calgary Stampeder Alex Singleton intercepted 49ers quarterback Nick Mullens for the game-winning score.

The Eagles move into first place in the dreadful NFC East with a 1-2-1 record.

Tonight, has a double dip of games, at 4pm, Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs (3-0) welcome the New England Patriots (2-1).

Elsewhere, the Green Bay Packers (3-0) host the winless Atlanta Falcons (0-3) at 5:50 Pacific time.

NBA:

A heroic triple-double from Jimmy Butler kick-started the Miami Heat to a 115-104 victory over the LA Lakers in Game 3 of the NBA Finals.

Butler recorded 40 points, 11 rebounds and 13 assists.

Kelly Olynyk of Kamloops also came up big for the Heat recording 17 points and seven rebounds in 31 minutes of action.

Game four is slated for Tuesday in Orlando with the Lakers leading the best of seven 2-1.

MLB:

Both American League Division Series get underway today (Monday).

The Houston Astros battle the Oakland Athletics while the Tampa Bay Rays host the New York Yankees.

The National League begins their next slate of playoff games on Tuesday with the Miami Marlins taking on the

Atlanta Braves followed by the San Diego Padres and the Los Angeles Dodgers.
