–The 2020 NHL Draft will be held virtually with Round 1 taking place tonight starting just after 4:00 PT. Rounds 2-7 will take place on Wednesday beginning at 8:30 a.m. PT. The New York Rangers won the Draft lottery and are expected to take Rimouski Oceanic winger Alexis Lafreniere with the first overall pick.
–The Vancouver Canucks do not have a 1st round pick as it was traded to the Tampa Bay Lightning to acquire J.T. Miller. The pick (20th overall) was later moved to the New Jersey Devils in a deal that saw Blake Coleman head to the Lightning.

–Edmonton Oilers captain Connor McDavid has tested positive for COVID-19. According to the Oilers, McDavid has been involuntary self-quarantine since learning of his positive test result, and is currently “feeling well and experiencing mild symptoms.”

Both the Packers and Chiefs improve to 4-0. Kansas City is the first team in NFL history to start a season with four consecutive wins in four straight years. The only other 4-0 teams in the NFL this year are Seattle and Buffalo.
