Prince George Taxi connected to possible COVID-19 exposure

Northern Health is advising anyone who used Prince George Taxi on October 2nd or 3rd, between 6:00 pm to 6:00 am that they may have been exposed to COVID-19.

Health officials are asking people who travelled by PG Taxi during this time to monitor for symptoms of the virus until October 17th (14 days from the last date of possible exposure).

“The driver is the focus of the contact tracing that is taking place,” said Eryn Collins, Northern Health Spokesperson.

“There is contact tracing underway,” added Collins, “and where possible, the health authority is reaching out directly to individuals who have been exposed.”
