BCHL:

–The Prince George Spruce Kings have home-and-home pre-season games this weekend against the Merritt Centennials. The two teams battle tonight (Friday) in Merritt and Sunday afternoon at 3:00 at the RMCA in PG.

NHL:

–The Vancouver Canucks and restricted free agent winger Jake Virtanen have struck a deal. It is a two-year contract worth a total of $5.1 million.

NFL: 

–With two wins in seven games the Philadelphia Eagles have taken over first place in the NFC East. The Eagles scored two touchdowns in the last five minutes of the game to erase an 11-point deficit and beat the New York Giants 22-21. The Eagles are 2-4-1 while the Giants drop to 1-6.

–The Seattle Seahawks game at the Arizona Cardinals has been moved back four hours to Sunday night at 5:20 PT from the afternoon. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers at Las Vegas Raiders game has been bumped to Sunday afternoon at 1:05.

MLB:

–There are three games in three nights coming up for the Los Angeles Dodgers and the Tampa Bay Rays in the World Series which is tied 1-1. The two teams play tonight, Saturday and Sunday with all games starting just after 5:00 PT in Arlington, Texas.
