A devastating fire in downtown Prince George early Monday morning.
Prince George Fire Rescue responded to the blaze on the 300 block of George Street around 11:30 Sunday night, where heavy smoke and flames were coming from the roof of a building next to the Copper Pig.
Here an eyewitness desribes what happened next.
No word yet on what caused the fire.
Firefighters are expected to be on scene throughout the day, and there will be no access to George Street and Dominion between 3rd and 4th Avenue.
