Biathlon:

–Sarah Beaudry of Prince George placed 70th out of 102 racers in the women’s biathlon 15-kilometre individual event in Finland. It was the start of the World Cup season.

UPDATE: Beaudry finished 80th out of 104 in the women’s 7.5 km sprint race today (Sunday).

 

NFL: 

–The Denver Broncos’ three eligible quarterbacks — Drew Lock, Brett Rypien and Blake Bortles are not available for their home game today against the New Orleans Saints. Each was deemed to be high-risk COVID-19 close contacts. There are reports that Broncos WR Kendall Hinton will play at QB against the Saints. Hinton did play QB while at Wake Forest.

–Among the Sunday games in the NFL: Tennessee at Indianapolis and Kansas City at Tampa Bay.
