NFL: 

–The Seattle Seahawks are 8-3 and in first place in the NFC West. The Seahawks scored the first 14 points of the game and went on to beat the Eagles in Philadelphia 23-17. Seattle is a game ahead of the (7-4) LA Rams and two up on the (6-5) Arizona Cardinals. The (3-7-1) Eagles are 3rd in the NFC East, but just 1/2 a game out of 1st.

–The Baltimore at Pittsburgh game has been moved for a 4th time. The (6-4) Ravens and (10-0) Steelers are now scheduled to play Wednesday afternoon (12:40) in Pittsburgh to conclude Week 12 of the NFL season.

Biathlon:

–Sarah Beaudry of Prince George began the women’s World Cup biathlon season in Finland by competing in a couple of races. Beaudry, a graduate of Duchess Park, placed 70th out of 102 racers in the 15km individual event (Saturday) & followed that up with an 80th place finish out of 104 (Sunday) in the 7.5km sprint.
