Josh Allen and the Buffalo Bills were full value in a 26-15 win over the Pittsburgh Steelers in NFL action on Sunday.

Bills receiver Stefon Diggs put in a big performance catching ten passes for 130 yards and a touchdown.

Buffalo improves to 10-3 on the season and have opened up a two-game lead over the Miami Dolphins in the AFC East Division.

The Steelers drop to 11-2.

Monday Night Football sees the Cleveland Browns (9-3) host Lamar Jackson and the Baltimore Ravens (7-5).

Cleveland’s Major League Baseball team will no longer be called the Indians.

According to the New York Times, the nickname has been dropped following years of protesting from fans and Native American groups.

Cleveland’s move away from their team name follows a similar decision earlier this year by the NFL’s Washington Football Team.

NHL

The Colorado Avalanche announced yesterday that former general manager Pierre Lacroix has passed away at the age of 72.

He was the architect of the Avalanche during their formative years in the mid-90’s and early 2000’s, which included the likes of Joe Sakic, Patrick Roy, and Peter Forsberg.

Biathlon

Prince George’s Sarah Beaudry continued to compete on the world stage.

The 26-year-old Duchess Park graduate placed 39th out of 108 in the 7.5 km women’s sprint competition in Austria.

Beaudry and her Biathlon Canada teammates placed 15th out of 23 teams in the women’s 4×6 relay competition.

She also placed 50th out of 58 in the 10 kilometre pursuit.

The local product will stay in Austria for another set of competitions this weekend.
