The Vancouver Canucks play again in Toronto tonight (4:00) and Monday. The Maple Leafs whipped the Canucks 7-3 on Thursday. Vancouver is 1-3 on a six-game road trip. The (6-8) Canucks have given up a league-high 55 goals in 14 games, an average of nearly four per game.

The Alberta NHL teams meet tonight with Edmonton at Calgary.

–The Prince George Spruce Kings have signed General Manager Mike Hawes to a three-year contract extension.
Hawes is in his 16th season with the team, including 10 as GM. He was named the BCHL Executive of the year in 2019.

–The Kansas City Chiefs are 3-point favourites to win the Lombardi Trophy in Super Bowl 55. The Chiefs will play the Bucs in Tampa on Sunday with a 3:30 PM PT kickoff. About 25,000 fans are expected to attend.
