The Canucks play their next four games against the Flames starting Thursday in Vancouver. The two teams also meet Saturday and Monday in Vancouver and Wednesday of next week (Feb 17th) in Calgary. The (6-10) Canucks are a point behind the (6-5-1) Flames but Calgary has four games in hand. Vancouver has given up a league-high 63 goals in 16 games.

Canadian Bianca Andreescu is out at the Australian Open, losing in the second-round to the 71st-ranked player in the world from Taiwan (Hsieh Su-Wei.

NBA:

The (11-13) Toronto Raptors are 3-1 on a 6-game road trip that continues tonight in Washington and concludes Thursday night in Boston. Toronto is 8th in the Eastern Conference but only a game out of 5th.
