It has been a season where Brett Connolly played in his 500th NHL game (January 28th), has been a healthy scratch, and has struggled to put points up.
The 28-year-old forward from Prince George has been placed on waivers by the Florida Panthers.

Connolly, a former Prince George, and Cariboo Cougar has just one goal and two assists in 16 games this season.
He is in the second season of a four-year, $14 million contract ($3.5 AAV) he originally signed on July 1, 2019.
