The Prince George Cougars will start their 24-game regular-season as soon as three weeks from Friday. The WHL has been granted approval by the B.C. Provincial Health Office to play in two Hub Centers located in Kamloops and Kelowna. This allows the five B.C. Division teams to open their season on Friday, March 26. The Cougars will be based out of Kamloops along with the Blazers and Vancouver Giants. The Rockets and Victoria Royals will be based out of Kelowna.

The PG Spruce Kings season remains on hold. Doctor Bonnie Henry says the BCHL has a number of issues that need to be resolved before teams can drop the puck.
“There are a number of concerns identified, I’ll be blunt about that, that need to be addressed before that can happen safely,” said Henry during her Tuesday media briefing.
“I know timing is an issue, and whether those can be worked out or not, I am not clear.”

The Toronto Raptors are scheduled to host the Detroit Pistons tonight in Tampa Bay. The (9-25) Pistons have the worst record in the Eastern Conference and second-worst in the league. The (17-17) Raptors are tied for 5th in the tight Eastern Conference.
The Raptors have become the latest team to see their schedule disrupted by an outbreak. And yet, in the grand scheme of what the NBA has been trying to accomplish this season, the Raptors have done well to navigate the risks. (via @michaelgrange)https://t.co/HG8F6EoK68
