The Vancouver Canucks will play their first game since March 24th when they host the Edmonton Oilers Friday.
The Canucks made three deals just prior to the Monday noon NHL trade deadline. The Canucks sent Adam Gaudette to the Chicago Blackhawks for Matthew Highmore. Vancouver also acquired defenceman Madison Bowey and a fifth-round draft pick from Chicago for a fourth-rounder. In another move, The Canucks dealt defenceman Jordie Benn to Winnipeg for a sixth-round pick.
Jim Benning positioned the Canucks for the future on a surprisingly active #NHLTradeDeadline day.
That included moving on from Adam Gaudette. (@imacSportsnet)https://t.co/5KNvuwE2Y9
