Kelowna Rockets  7  Prince George Cougars  5  (Saturday)
(The teams combined for five shorthanded goals, three of them by the Rockets. Trevor Wong led Kelowna with four goals, two of them with his team a man short. Kyren Gronick tallied twice for the Cougars in the 3rd period. Fischer O’Brien of P.G. scored his first WHL goal for the Cats and it came shorthanded. The (4-4-1-1) Cougars play the Vancouver Giants Monday night at 7:00 in Kamloops)

The (5-3) PG Spruce Kings play the (6-3) Chilliwack Chiefs tonight at 5:00 in Chilliwack. The Spruce Kings are coming off Friday’s 5-0 victory over the Merritt Centennials. The Chiefs beat Merritt 4-1 last night (Saturday).
