(The (18-18-3) Canucks are 8 points back of Montreal for the 4th and final playoff spot in the North Division with Vancouver holding 4 games in hand. The Canucks play their next 4 games against the last-place Ottawa Senators starting Thursday in Vancouver)

WHL: (BC Division)

The (4-5-1-1) Prince Cougars have reached the midway point of their mini regular season. The Cougars return to action Thursday when they face the (8-2) Blazers in Kamloops. The Blazers whipped the Kelowna Rockets 6-2 last night (Tuesday).

CFL:
The CFL says the 2021 season will start two months later than planned because of the pandemic. The league plans to start on August 5th after originally planning to kick things off in June. Each team is also scheduled to play 14 games, down from the original 18. The Grey Cup is scheduled to be played on December 12th.
