There are three NHL playoff games tonight: Boston at Washington (4:30), Nashville at Carolina (5:00), and St. Louis at Colorado (7:00).

The Capitals beat the Bruins 3-2 in overtime in the opener of that series.

Regular Season

Calgary  6  Vancouver  5  (OT)
(The Canucks scored four unanswered goals in the 3rd to erase a 5-1 deficit and force overtime. The (22-28-4) Canucks conclude their season with two more games against the Flames; Tuesday afternoon at 1:00 in Vancouver and Wednesday afternoon at 12:30 in Calgary)

Preakness Stakes:

Medina Spirit will not be claiming the Triple Crown after coming in third in the 146th Preakness Stakes from Pimlico Racecourse in Baltimore, Maryland.

Rombauer pulled off the 11-1 upset with jockey Flavian Prat aboard.

The last leg of the Triple Crown is the Belmont Stakes, which takes place on June 5th.

NBA:

(The Raptors finished their season on a seven-game losing streak, with a record of 27-45, good for 12th place in the Eastern Conference)

The defending champion LA Lakers finished 7th in the Western Conference and will face the 8th place Golden State Warriors in a play-in game Wednesday night. The winner will meet the Phoenix Suns in the first round while the loser will get another chance to qualify for the playoffs by facing the winner of Memphis and San Antonio.
