There are two NHL playoff games tonight (Friday): Montreal at Winnipeg (4:30 PT) and Colorado at Vegas (7:00). The Jets will be without forward Mark Scheifele, who will start serving a 4-game suspension for his hit on Canadiens forward Jake Evans late in Game 1.

World Hockey:

Team Canada beat Russia 2-1 in overtime in the quarterfinals at the world hockey championship in Latvia. Canada will battle the U.S. in one semifinal on Saturday. The other has Finland against Germany. Winners play in the final on Sunday.
