NHL:

Montreal Canadiens  3  Tampa Bay Lightning  2  (OT)
(Josh Anderson scored his second goal of the game at 3:57 of overtime shortly after Montreal killed off a 4-minute high-sticking penalty to Shea Weber. Carey Price made 32 saves as the Lightning outshot the Canadiens 34-21. Tampa Bay still leads the Stanley Cup Final 3-1 with Game 5 in Tampa Wednesday night. Lightning head coach Jon Cooper of Prince George is one win away from capturing his second straight Cup.

Tennis

For the first time in the Open era, two Canadian men have made it to the quarterfinals in singles at Wimbledon. On Monday, Denis Shapovalov the No. 10 seed, beat No. 8 Roberto Bautista Agut in straight sets, and Felix Auger-Aliassime the No. 16 seed, upset No. 4 Alexander Zverev in five sets.

 

NBA

The best-of-7 NBA Finals will tip-off tonight just after 6:00 with the Milwaukee Bucks at the Phoenix Suns. The Bucks have not won an NBA title in 50 years (since 1971) while the Suns have never won the Larry O’Brien trophy at all.

The (43-39) Toronto Blue Jays start a 6-game road trip tonight in Baltimore against the last-place Orioles.
