The BCHL Fred Page Cup final has shifted to Nanaimo for games three and four tonight and Tuesday. The Clippers lead the Penticton Vees 2-0. Nanaimo is coming off a 2-1 OT victory in Penticton where ex PG Cougar Brett Roulston scored 20 seconds into overtime. Roulston is tied for the Clippers playoff scoring lead with 14 points , including six goals, in 19 games.

–In the WHL playoffs, the Medicine Hat Tigers edged the Calgary Hitmen 3-2 in overtime to tie that Eastern Conference semi-final series 1-1. Game three will be played tonight in Calgary.

The Kelowna Rockets are up 2-0 over the Royals with games three and four Tuesday and Wednesday in Victoria.

The Brandon Wheat Kings enjoy a 2-0 lead over the Pats with that Eastern Conference semi-final series to resume Tuesday in Regina.

The Everett Silvertips are tied 1-1 with the Winterhawks in the best of 7 Western Conference semi with action to resume Thursday in Portland.

–Prince George gymnasts competed at the Provincial Gymnastics Championships in North Shore. Samantha Thomas
earned the only PG gold with a first place on bars in Level 6 (1997-2001).

Jaymie Hinks captured silver on vault and 4th all around out of 35 in Level 7 (1997-2001). Jade Jacobs took bronze on the beam and 5th all around in Level 7 (2002-2003).

Rhiana Palfy earned bronze on bars in Level 8 (1997-2001). Lane Oke got bronze on the floor in Level 3 Boys.

The Prince George Gymnastics meet will be held May 2nd and 3rd.

–The North Capital Judo Club racked up six firsts, five seconds and five thirds from 21 members in the Prince George Open Judo Tournament.
