Vladimir Guerrero Jr. of the Toronto Blue Jays rocked Coors Field with a 468-foot home run to help the A.L. to its eighth straight victory. The 22-year-old Guerrero became the youngest MVP in All-Star Game history.

The (45-42) Blue Jays return to action on Friday when they host the Texas Rangers.

NBA

After a two-day break, the NBA Finals resume tonight in Milwaukee (with tip-off just after 6:00 PT). Heading into Game 4, the Phoenix Suns lead the Bucks 2-1.

Olympics:

Canada will send a team of 371 athletes to the Tokyo Olympics.

It’s the country’s largest Olympic contingent since the 1984 Los Angeles Summer Games.

The Canadian Olympic Committee says 225 members of the team will be athletes who identify as women and 146 who identify as men.

Among the female athletes: track star Regan Yee of Hazelton who will compete in the 3000 Metre Steeplechase and Kayla Moleschi of Williams Lake who is part of the women’s rugby team.

The Tokyo Olympics begin on July 23 and run through to August 8th.
