A new name is coming soon for a Prince George school.
Highglen Montessori School, which is now run out of Gladstone Elementary, is wanting to come up with a name that is more appropriate to its neighbourhood.
Principal Karin Paterson says the process to get a new name is still under wraps.
“As there is a process that goes further where I would notify the assistant superintendent at the board office,” says Paterson, “and then she would get that from us, then she would get it through a committee, that involves at least one of the trustees at that level.”

Paterson says they have already asked the community for input on names for the new school.
She says they hope to have a new name announced for the coming school year.
