Inner City boxers Kenny Lally (56 kilos) and Jag Seehra (60 kilos) fight this weekend at the Provincials in New Westminster. Lally is looking for his 10th consecutive BC title while Seehra is after his 9th straight. Provincial winners advance to the Western Canadian Championships in Red Deer June 6th and 7th.
The Westwood Pub Devils remain the class of the Prince George Senior Lacrosse League. The Devils improved to 5-0 following a 17-7 triumph over the BX Pub Bandits. The Bandits fell to 1-4.
The WHL final is tied 2-2 with the home team winning each game. The championship series will resume Friday with the Edmonton Oil Kings at the Portland Winterhawks.
