Prince George Spruce Kings  5  Trail Smoke Eaters  3

Rowan Miller snapped a 3-3 tie by scoring his second goal of the game on the power-play with just 2:42 left in the third period before 1,000 fans at the RMCA.

The (8-3) Spruce Kings host the (5-4-1) Smoke Eaters again tonight.

BC Elite Hockey League: (Cariboo Cougars U18 AAA & Northern Capitals Female U18 AAA)

The (5-5-1-1) Cariboo Cougars visit the (8-4) Greater Vancouver Canadians tonight at 5:00 and Sunday afternoon at 1:30 in Richmond. Cariboo is in 7th place in the 10-team league.

It was the 6th straight loss for the Lions, who have just two games remaining. B.C. will host Calgary Friday night (Nov 12th) at 7:30 before concluding with a home game against Edmonton on November 19th.

The loss extended the Elks losing streak to seven games.

There are a pair of CFL games today: Toronto visits Ottawa (1:00 PT) followed by Montreal at Winnipeg (4:00).
