Spruce Kings and Vipers swap forwards

Another veteran forward has landed with the Prince George Spruce Kings.

Today (Monday), they acquired 19-year-old Logan Lorenz from the Vernon Vipers in exchange for 17-year-old Max Borovinskiy.

The Consort, Alberta product is in his second BCHL season.

Lorenz currently sits with four points in 18 games thus far.

The 19-year-old also finished with 10 points in 20 games in the Pod season last year in Vernon.

“We’re thrilled to add a player like Logan to our lineup. Our coaches and I have watched Logan play several times over the past few seasons going back to his midget days and have always liked the way he plays. He’s a hard-working player with a lot of skill. He will fit in well with our group,” said Mike Hawes, Spruce Kings General Manager.

It is hopeful that Lorenz will be in the lineup Wednesday night when the Spruce Kings host the Penticton Vees at the Rolling Mix Concrete Arena.

Puck drop is at 7 pm.
