97 cases of COVID-19 reported in Prince George’s local health area last week

The BC Centre for Disease Control (BCCDC) is reporting a slight increase in new COVID-19 cases for the Prince George local health area this week.

97 new cases were reported in the Prince George Local Health Area between November 21st and 27th.

The week before (November 14th to 20th), there were 95 cases reported in the area.

The BCCDC’s latest data shows that 87% of people aged 12 and older in the Prince George Local Health area have received at least one dose of a COVID-19 vaccine, and 82% have received a second dose.

In addition, 34% of people aged 70 and older have received a third dose in the Prince George area.

The BCCDC does not have data for third doses for other age groups.
