Prince George Cougars  5  Vancouver Giants  3

Blake Eastman scored twice and Taylor Gauthier made 36 saves for the Cougars, who won their third straight game.

The Giants extended their losing skid to four, despite outshooting the Cats 39-28 before 1,552 fans at CN Centre.

Prince George will also visit Kamloops on Friday and Vancouver (in Langley) on Saturday before heading into its Christmas break.

Vancouver erased a 3-0 second period deficit to win its 5th straight game, all under new head coach Bruce Boudreau.

The U-18 Cariboo Cougars are idle until the new year.

They will host the (6-12-0-2) South Island Royals on Jan 8th (4:30 PM) and 9th (7:15 AM) at Kin 1.
