It was a good weekend for the Prince George George Cougars who swept a pair of games against the Vancouver Giants in Langley.
The Cougars beat the Giants 3-2 in overtime on Friday and 4-2 on Saturday.

Prince George won the Friday game 3-2 in overtime.
On Saturday night, Koehn Ziemmer scored the first two goals and Ethan Samson notched the winner for the second straight game, making it 3-0 at the 9:20 mark of the second period.

Captain Jonny Hooker completed the scoring with an empty-net goal.
Tyler Brennan made 27 saves as each team had 29 shots.

Both teams went 2-for-4 on the power-play.
The (15-17-1-1) Cougars are tied with the (15-17-2-0) Giants for 6th in the Western Conference, four points ahead of the (12-16-4) Victoria Royals.
The Royals lost 9-1 Saturday in Kelowna.
Prince George will host Victoria on Tuesday and Wednesday.

The Cougars erased a 2-0 deficit to end a five-game losing streak before 2,163 fans in Langley.
Koehn Ziemmer tied the nationally televised game at 2-2 at 14:37 of the second period, exactly two minutes after Samson tallied his first of the night.
Tyler Brennan got the victory in net with 37 saves as Vancouver outshot P.G. 39-38.
