Talk about a stroke of luck.
The winner of Friday’s Spruce Kings Show Home Lottery was a first-time buyer.
Dave Milligan is the lucky winner of a fully-furnished home located on Links Drive, worth three-quarters of a million dollars.
He said it won’t really hit him until seeing the house for the very first time.
“I think so. I think it will sink in more when I find my way up there and look at it.”
“I saw it on Facebook and I bought a ticket and was lucky. I hadn’t bought one before.”
Milligan told MyPGNow.com he has some family ties to the northern capital.
“Yeah, my Dad grew up in Prince George for part of his life.”
Milligan grew up in Nanaimo, but now lives in the Greater Vancouver area and has not made a firm decision on what to do with the home.
“I am not sure yet, haven’t seen it yet. I don’t know, I am taking it a bit slow and seeing how it goes I guess. I haven’t really made up my mind one way or the other.”
