“Climatologically, we are looking at the wet season approaching for the Prince George area. As we get into May, June, and July, these are our wet months – especially in June so we can expect showers to be more frequent and then thunderstorms will ramp up as well.”

He added the conditions will likely remain cool until summer.

“The month of May and kind of into June we might still trend a little bit below normal for temperatures. So, it might be a few degrees cooler than what we were expecting in May or June but heading into July, the weather models suggest we’ll head back into a normal temperature trend.”

Last month was the fourth-coldest April on record in PG.
