Spruce Kings acquire forward from United States Hockey League

The Prince George Spruce Kings added more experience to its forward group for the upcoming BCHL season.

Today (Monday), they acquired 20-year-old Jake Schneider from the Waterloo Black Hawks of the United States Hockey League in exchange for future considerations.

The native of Plymouth, Minnesota scored 6 goals and added 7 assists in 41 USHL games last season.

Schneider is committed to Colgate University for the 2023-2024 season.

“We are thrilled to add Jake to our program. He is a very skilled player who will improve the offensive side of our team game while contributing in all areas. Our
staff did a great job identifying and recruiting Jake to our program and our fans will enjoy watching him play this season.” said Mike Hawes, Spruce Kings General Manager.
