Local man claims BIGSNBC ATV Raffle

A ride through the backcountry is in the cards for Tory Stillwell of Prince George.

He was the winner of the Big Brothers/Big Sisters of Northern BC ATV Raffle today (Friday).

Stillwell told MyPGNow.com that having his name called was a pleasant surprise.

“It feels amazing. I don’t think I have won anything in my life so this is wonderful.”

He adds the new toy will help kick off a special occasion on the right foot.

“It’s my daughter’s birthday this weekend so we already planned a ride. I think I will take this.”

The prize was a 2022 Yamaha Wolverine side-by-side

Spruce Kings pick up win over Salmon Arm

The Prince George Spruce Kings scored early and often in a 4-1 win over the Salmon Arm Silverbacks. Dracen Campbell got the 1,009 fans at Kopar Memorial Arena in to the game early, opening the scoring for the Spruce Kings just 4:08 into the first. 

Dumanski completes the Cougars’ comeback in Seattle
