Cougars crack the ice (age)

Over 1,000 fans flocked to the new “Ice Age” at CN Centre Tuesday.

They gathered to hear from the new ownership group of the Prince George Cougars.

Those that addressed the enthusiastic crowd included co-owners Dan Hamhuis and Greg Pocock plus WHL Commissioner Rob Robison and Prince George Mayor Shari Green.

Pocock’s final message was a firm commitment to keeping the franchise in PG permanently.
