Police have seized a significant amount of drugs from a residence in Prince George.
Just after 6:00 a.m. Sunday (August 6th) morning, frontline officers attended a residence in the 7600-block of Gladstone Drive for an unrelated matter.
During the course of the investigation, Mounties entered the residence, and found what appeared to be drug trafficking paraphernalia.
According to police, large quantities of suspected methamphetamine and fentanyl were seized, along with smaller amounts of suspected cocaine and psilocybin.
Police also located various prescription medications and a modified pellet gun.
“There is no doubt this seizure represents a significant disruption to the drug trafficking activity in Prince George,” said Cpl. Jennifer Cooper.
Police are familiar with those who were in the residence.
Several people were arrested at the time of the investigation, and were released pending further investigation.
