Training camp is underway for both men’s and women’s soccer teams at UNBC.
The Timberwolves kick off the men’s soccer season August 26th at 6pm against the Trinity Western Spartans from Masich Place Stadium.

BC Football Conference:
The (0-2) Prince George Kodiaks visit the (2-1) Valley Huskers Saturday night at 7:00 in Chilliwack in the B.C. Football Conference.
The same two teams will also play on Saturday, August 20th at Masich Place Stadium in Prince George.
The Kodiaks lost to the Huskers 31-5 on July 23rd in Chilliwack before dropping their home opener last Saturday (August 6th), a 35-20 loss to the Kamloops Broncos.

National Bank Open Tennis
Although Bianca Andreescu was eliminated from the National Bank Open, the week as a whole felt like a win.
The 22-year-old reached the Round of 16 where she fell to China’s Zheng Qinwen 7-5, 5-7, 6-2, on Thursday.
Andreescu was the last Canadian playing in either the women’s singles or doubles tournament.
