Drive BC has since reported the road has reopened to traffic in both directions, east of Shelley Road.
Cpl. Madonna Saunderson of the North District RCMP confirmed to MyPGNow.com it was a single-vehicle incident involving a logging truck.
No injuries were reported and witnesses stated there was slippery sections on Highway 16 at the time of the crash.

A vehicle incident on Highway 16 near Prince George is snarling traffic.
According to Drive BC, it occurred this morning (Friday) east of Shelley Road, shutting down traffic in both directions.
Crews are en route to the area and drivers can expect delays.
