Two northern MP’s have vastly differing views on the soon to be passed Fair Elections Act.
PG-Peace River Conservative MP Bob Zimmer is supportive and says it will mean voting will require the use of ID and will eliminate vouching.
But Skeena-Bulkley Valley NDP MP Nathan Cullen says it will make voting harder and as a consequence will decrease turnout at the polls.
The Fair Elections Act passed third reading this week and is expected to become law in June.
