The Prince George Cougars are in Kelowna where they start a 7-game road trip tonight against the Rockets.
The (16-17-3) Cougars are 7th in the Western Conference, but just three points out of 4th.
The (13-20-3) Rockets are 8th in the conference, six points behind Prince George.

The BCHL trade deadline is this afternoon at 3:00.
The Prince George Spruce Kings hit the road this week.
The (17-12-2-1) Spruce Kings visit the (18-10-4) West Kelowna Warriors on Friday and the (15-16-1-2) Wenatchee Wild on Saturday.
Prince George is 4th in the 9-team Interior Division.

BC Elite Hockey League: (BCEHL)
(U18 male)
The (7-12-1) Under-18 Cariboo Cougars host the (15-7-2) Vancouver North West Hawks Saturday night at 6:30 and Sunday morning at 11:00 at Kin 1.
The U-18 Cougars are 7th and the Hawks 3rd in the 9-team division.
(U18 female)
The (8-13-2) Under-18 female Northern Capitals have three home games this weekend against the (21-0) Fraser Valley Rush.
They meet Friday at 3:45 PM at Kin 2, Saturday afternoon at 2:00 at CN Centre, and Sunday afternoon at 2:30 also at CN Centre.
The Capitals are 4th in the 5-team division.

Canada West Basketball:
The UNBC Timberwolves visit the Victoria Vikes Friday and Saturday night in Canada West men’s and women’s basketball.
UNBC is 5-5 (men) and 3-7 (women) while Victoria is 10-2 (men) and 4-8 (women).
