Cougars have 25 weekend home games

The Prince George Cougars will open their 22nd WHL regular season schedule with eight of their first nine games on home ice. The Cougars start with a doubleheader against the Everett Silvertips September 25th and 27th at CN Centre.

This marks the first time since the 2009-10 season that the Cougars have started their season at home.

The Cougars play 25 of their 36 home games on weekends with 12 on Saturdays, 11 on Fridays and two on Sundays.

The remainder of their home games include six on Tuesdays, four on Wednesdays and just one on a Monday.

The Cats first road game will be October 3rd in Seattle.

The Cougars play four of their last five games on the road although they close at home against Kamloops on March 19th.

The Cougars will host their annual Teddy Bear Toss game on Saturday, December 19th against Victoria.

The Cats will head to Saskatchewan and Manitoba for a six game trip against the East Division teams starting January 29th in Swift Current and concluding February 6th in Regina.
