The Cougars, coming off the doubleheader sweep this week of the Portland Winterhawks, visit the (21-26-4-2) Vancouver Giants Friday and the (15-36-5-1) Victoria Royals Saturday.

The (22-30-5) Vancouver Canucks visit the (26-28-3) St Louis Blues tonight at 5:00 (PT) in one of 10 Thursday games in the NHL.
The Blues are six points ahead of the Canucks, however, St. Louis is 12 points out of a playoff spot.

The (23-16-4-1) Prince George Spruce Kings host the (14-23-3-3) Powell River Kings Friday and the (39-3-0-1) Penticton Vees on Saturday.
Prince George is 4th in the 9-team Interior Division, a point behind West Kelowna with both teams having played 44 games.

BC Elite Hockey League: (BCEHL)
The (15-16-1-2) Under-18 Cariboo Cougars conclude their regular season this weekend.
They visit the (22-5-2-1) Okanagan Rockets Saturday night at 5:45 and Sunday morning at 8:00 in Kelowna.
Okanagan is 2nd and Cariboo is 6th in the 9-team division.

Canada Winter Games:
The B.C. male hockey team (which includes Ryder Green, Chase Harrington, and Cameron Schmidt of PG) finished 2-1 in Pool B and will play Manitoba in the quarterfinals tonight (Thursday) at the Canada Winter Games in PEI.
In other competitions:
The B.C. wheelchair basketball team (which includes Joel Ewert of PG) went 3-0 in the round-robin to advance to the semifinals on Friday.
Liam Simons of Prince George, who earned the bronze medal in the men’s biathlon 10 K pursuit, competes today in the 12.5 km individual race.
