CAMPFIRES STILL RESTRICTED WITHIN PG FIRE CENTRE

The Prince George Fire Centre says camp-fires are still restricted.

Fire Information Officer, Jill Kelsh says despite the cooler weather, several fires are still burning.

“Still have 30 active fires within the Prince George fire centre, with over 100 fire fighters on so they are still active despite the cooler temperature.”

Prohibited activities include the burning of grass, any open fire, fireworks and firecrackers, burn barrels and tiki torches.
